Qualitative
data analysis involves the identification, examination, and interpretation of
patterns and themes in textual data and determines how these patterns and
themes help answer the research questions at hand. Qualitative analysis is Not
guided by universal rules and is thus a very fluid process that is highly
dependent on the evaluator and the context of the study.
Qualitative
researchers now have the option to apply technology tools in their approach for
data management and data analysis to ease the complexity of the research
process.
This
course aims to build the capacity of qualitative researchers in qualitative
data management and analysis using NVIVO qualitative software. This software
has many features that can assist to simplify the whole process of doing
qualitative research
Target Participants
This is a general course targeting
participants wishing to analyze the bag of words that is qualitative
data. Cross sector professionals who wish to be conversant with the
concepts and applications of NVivo Software to analyze qualitative data will
benefit from this course. No prior Knowledge is required to follow this course.
