Impact evaluation for development projects 28th May-1st June, Nairobi

Impact evaluation relies on rigorous methods to determine the changes in outcomes which can be attributed to a specific intervention based on cause-and-effect analysis.  Impact evaluations need to account for the counterfactual – what would have occurred without the intervention through the use of an experimental or quasi-experimental design using comparison and treatment groups.

This course takes you through a step by step guide towards understanding impact evaluation for development projects.

Optionally, Trainees can take this course (5 days) , and enjoin with a data analysis course the following week with a choice of either Analysis with R,STATA, SPSS, Excel, NVIVO or Mobile phone based data collection with ODK.

Course objectives
